NyxAir (OJ, Tallinn Lennart Meri) is once again growing its freighter fleet, having added its first Saab 340A(F) to the fleet.
ES-NSM (msn 113) was ferried from Örebro to Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden under its new Estonian registration on January 7, 2023, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows. The carrier did not respond to ch-aviation's query about induction dates or plans for the freighter.
The aircraft joins NyxAir's only existing freighter, a Saab 340B(F). The Estonian airline operated three Saab (Sweden) freighters in 2020 but has since retired two units, the ch-aviation fleets history module shows.
The ch-aviation Commercial Aviation Aircraft Data module shows that NyxAir's passenger fleet comprises two ATR42-500s, four Saab 2000s, one Saab 340A, and three Saab 340Bs. The carrier is evaluating adding larger aircraft to upgauge capacity on its Estonian PSO route from Tallinn Lennart Meri to Kuressaare.
