El Al Israel Airlines (LY, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion) has finalized an order for two additional B737-900ER aircraft from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) earlier this week. It had previously already committed to four of the aircraft in March 2011 but now has increased its order to a total of six. El Al currently already operates two B737-700s and 14 B737-800s. The six B737-900ERs are expected to be delivered between 2013 and 2019.
