Xiamen Airlines (MF, Xiamen) has announced plans to order 40 additional B737-800s with the details yet to be finalized with Boeing (BOE, Washington National). The China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou) subsidiary expects to take delivery of the aircraft between 2016 and 2019. It currently operates a fleet of 15 B737-700s, 58 B737-800s and 6 B757-200s and has 6 B787-8s and 14 additional B737-800s on order. Its key bases besides Xiamen are at Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Quanzhou and Xi'an Xianyang.
