Caricom Airways (Paramaribo Zorg en Hoop) is planning to add four 50 seat turboprops to its fleet of smaller BN-2, Cessna and Piper aircraft to launch regional scheduled flights. It has not yet finalized its flight schedule but has said that it would plan to serve Boa Vista, RR, Bridgetown, Georgetown Cheddi Jagan and St. Lucia Hewanorra from Paramaribo International. It had previously planned to operate scheduled flights from St. Lucia two years ago but did not get the necessary approvals.
