Avcon Jet Middle East, a unit of Austria's Avcon Jet (AOJ, Vienna), will exclusively charter and dispatch a CRJ200ER(SF) operated by Iraq's Al Haya Aviation (HA, Erbil).

YI-BAR (msn 7421) is a 23.7-year-old aircraft that Al Haya Aviation inducted in 2018, the ch-aviation fleets history module shows. It is the Iraqi carrier's only aircraft. Based out of Sulaymaniyah until last year, it was ferried for maintenance at Istanbul Atatürk on February 16, 2024, and was subsequently redelivered to Fujairah on April 22. It has yet to re-enter revenue service.

A Dubai-based company, Avcon Jet Middle East does not have its own AOC. It confirmed to ch-aviation that the Bombardier Aerospace-converted regional jet will remain registered in Iraq.

Avcon Jet recently added its first passenger-configured Challenger 850, a derivative of a CRJ200, namely OE-LVS (msn 8073). The Austrian business charter operator currently has 36 aircraft registered in Austria, one in Germany (on the Austrian AOC), a further 10 on the AOC of Avcon Jet Malta, and 14 on the AOC of Avcon Jet San Marino.
