Thomson Airways (London Luton) is planning to launch a weekly service from London Gatwick to Phuket from November 2013 using its fleet of B787-8s to be delivered in spring of next year. Phuket is the first destination that will be served in South East Asia by Thomson. It so far only serves Goa Dabolim and Malé in Asia.
