The Government of Rio Negro, an Argentinian province, has issued a public tender, 30/24, for the sale of two aircraft, one Cessna Aircraft Company Citation V Ultra, LV-KFB (msn 560-0270), and one Piper (twin piston) Aztec, LV-JYL (msn 27-4723).
The Cessna Citation V Ultra is listed with a base price of USD2.57 million, while the Piper was quoted at USD75,000. The jet also includes a sanitary kit HRG Ambulance, an incubator, and a Covid-19 capsule, as it was formerly used as an air ambulance, although it is no longer authorised to operate medevac services. It was recently ferried to Viedma from San Fernando, AR, ADS-B data shows. The latter is currently inactive and parked in San Fernando. Restoring the aircraft to airworthiness will cost about USD86,941.
Interested parties can inspect the aircraft between July 10 and 20.
By selling these two bizjets, Río Negro’s government says it will optimise the use of provincial resources.
