JetLink Express (Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta) has at least temporarily suspended all operations on Friday, November 16. The Kenyan regional carrier had operated a fleet of three CRJ100s, four CRJ200s and a single Fokker 28-4000 on routes from Nairobi to Eldoret, Juba, Kisumu, Mogadishu and Mombasa. JetLink managing director Elly Alluvale has mentioned the inability to access funds collected for ticket sales due to the currency crisis in South Sudan as one of the key financial difficulties that would have led to the carrier's current situation. It is unclear if and when JetLink will potentially resume limited operations.
