Fair Wind Air Charter (FWD, Stuart Witham) has retired the last Learjet 60XR operated under the company's Part 135 certificate, ch-aviation research shows.

N917SC (msn 60-341) remained active until November 19, 2024, when it flew from Miami Opa-Locka to Boca Raton. After being parked for nearly two months, it departed to Greenville/Spartanburg International on January 13, 2025. Three days later, the jet's registration was cancelled in the United States. On January 26, it was first active as VP-CAY, operated by Cayman Private Aviation on a flight to Boca Raton.

This Learjet 60XR had been part of Fair Wind Air Charter's fleet since 2019. The company retired the other unit of the type in 2021. It also previously operated four Learjet 60s, the last of which was retired in 2020.

Following this retirement, Fair Wind Air Charter's Part 135-certified fleet now comprises a Challenger 300, two Challenger 350s, a Challenger 605, a Challenger 650, two Global 5000s, a Global 6500, a GIV, a Citation Jet 3, a Citation Ultra, and a Citation Sovereign.
