NovaJet (NOJ, Toronto Pearson) has phased out the sole Global Express XRS it operated since 2022. The company confirmed to ch-aviation that the Bombardier Business Aircraft has been replaced by a Global 6500, which joined the fleet in December 2024.

The 15.2-year-old Global Express XRS, now registered in the United States as N413JC (msn 9393), is configured for up to 14 passengers and had been operated by NovaJet as C-GLXM. It was retired on January 6, 2025, flying from Toronto Pearson, where it was based, to Buffalo Niagara International, and onward to Hartford Bradley later the same day. On March 11, the ultra-long-range jet resumed operations with a test flight before being reregistered in the United States on April 15.

Following the retirement of the Global Express XRS, NovaJet's fleet now comprises a Learjet 40XR, a Challenger 350, three Challenger 605s, a Challenger 800 (CRJ200), a Global 6500, a Citation M2, a Citation Jet 1+, a Citation Sovereign+ (which has been recently inducted), a Falcon 900B, a Falcon 900DX, a Falcon 900EX EASy, a Falcon 900LX, a Falcon 2000, a Phenom 300, an Astra SPX (following the retirement of an Astra 1125 SP in early April), a G150, a G200, a G650ER, a Hawker 750, and a King Air B200GT.

The operator also told ch-aviation that it expects to add further aircraft to the fleet over the course of the year.
