Jet Linx Aviation (JL, Omaha Eppley) has phased out the last of two Citation Latitudes from its Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research reveals.
The one-year-old aircraft, D-CAWL (msn 680A-0398), was operated by Jet Linx as N398CL since new, primarily on the United States East Coast. It was last active under the company's 'JTL' code on April 9, flying between Washington Dulles and Teterboro. On the same day, it continued to Hannover with a stop at Reykjavik Keflavik.
On April 15, it was deregistered in the United States and is now registered in Germany as D-CAWL. Yet to enter service, it is the third Citation Latitude in the fleet of Aerowest (AWH, Hannover), as announced by the German operator on social media last week.
This was the last of two Latitudes operated under the charter certificate of Jet Linx, the first being between 2022 and late 2024. The company currently operates another unit of the type which is not listed as Part 135-certified.
Following this retirement, Jet Linx's Part 135 fleet of Citation-series jets now includes three Citation Jet 3s, a Citation Jet 4 Gen2, a Citation V, nine Citation XLSs, three Citation XLS+, three Citation XLS Gen2s, four Citation Sovereigns, and four Citation X. The company's certificate comprises a further 63 aircraft manufactured by Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Hawker Beechcraft.
