Solaris Aero (WSA, Sochi) has inducted a first executive jet, a Challenger 850, ch-aviation research reveals.

The 16.1-year-old Bombardier Business Aircraft, RA-73535 (msn 8081), is configured for up to 14 passengers. It was first active under Solaris Aero's 'WSA' code on April 5, flying between Moscow Vnukovo, where it is based, and Ekaterinburg.

This Challenger 850 was previously operated by Sanrêt (DXT, Zhukovsky) and last flew under the company's 'DXT' code in February 2025. The company continues to operate two other units of the type, including one recently imported to Russia.

Solaris Aero's AOC now includes the newly added Challenger 850 and an AW109, while an AW139 is certified for private operations only.

The company's website also features two additional helicopter types, the Eurocopter BO105 and the Robinson R44, both listed under a separate AOC held by a similarly named company, Solaris Aviation Centre, incorporated at the same address. Solaris Aero’s general manager, Volkov Viktorovich, formerly managed that entity.
