Tyrolean Jet & Service (TJS, Innsbruck) has resumed Citation Jet 1 operations following the addition of a unit of the type. The company had phased out a Citation Jet 1+ in December 2024, which is currently up for sale alongside two Citation Jet 2s also retired in late 2024.
The 24-year-old aircraft, T7-5MM (msn 525-0435), became active on May 29, flying between Mönchengladbach and Schwäbisch Hall Adolf Würth, followed by a leg to Munich Augsburg, where it remains parked. Previously operated privately in Germany as D-IAWU, it had been parked at Mönchengladbach since December 2, 2024, after a flight from Münster/Osnabrück.
The Citation Jet 1 joins TJS's fleet which also comprises a Citation XLS+, a Phenom 300E, and a Praetor 600 (added in March), all registered in Austria. TJS Malta operates a Falcon 7X and a PC-12.
With the addition, TJS resumes operations with San Marino-registered aircraft. The company previously operated two T7-registered jets until 2019 under TJS San Marino, which secured an air operator's certificate (AOC) in 2016 but is no longer listed as an active AOC holder.
