Choice Aviation (Cody) has resumed Part 135 executive jet operations following the addition of a Citation Jet 3, ch-aviation research reveals.
The 18.9-year-old aircraft, N794JS (msn 525B-0113), is configured for up to seven passengers and has been based at Cody since April 4.
Choice Aviation previously operated a single executive jet, namely another Citation Jet 3, between 2020 and early 2024. The company's Part 135 certificate also includes a Cessna 172, two Cessna 182s, a Cessna 206, a Cessna 310, a Cessna 340, a King Air B100, a King Air B200, two Piper PA-46s, and a Bell Helicopter B206.
Beyond charter flights, Choice Aviation provides aircraft management, pilot training, maintenance, and aircraft acquisition and sales. The company runs fixed-base operations (FBOs) at Billings, Cody, Ennis Big Sky, Hamilton Ravalli County, and West Yellowstone.
Prior to joining Choice Aviation, the Citation Jet 3 was operated under the Part 135 certificate of flyExclusive (JRE, Kinston) until its retirement in late February. The aircraft was last active under the company's 'JRE' code on April 3, flying between Fort Lauderdale Executive and Charleston International.
FlyExclusive's Part 135 fleet continues to include fifteen Citation Jet 3s and nine Citation Jet 3+, alongside 68 additional aircraft manufactured by Cessna Aircraft Company, Bombardier Business Aircraft, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Honda Aircraft.
