The United States Department of Defense and the Canadian Commercial Cooperation, a government contracting agency, have finalised a contract, first announced during the 2025 Paris Air Show, to deliver one DHC-6-300-G to the Guatemalan Air Force/Fuerza Aérea Guatemalteca. The aircraft will be configured for medical evacuation, disaster relief, and humanitarian aid operations. The parties did not disclose the delivery timeline. The acquisition is funded by the US under the Foreign Military Sales programme, which supports the needs of allied militaries. The -300-G, a modernised version of the DHC-6-300, is yet to be certified, with the launch customer, Switzerland's Zimex Aviation, expecting the first delivery in the fourth quarter of 2025.
