Upstar Aviation (São Paulo Congonhas) has launched charter operations with Citation-series aircraft following the addition of a Citation XLS+, the company announced on social media.

The 11.6-year-old aircraft, PR-RCN (msn 560-6145), is configured for up to nine passengers and is based at Jundiaí. It has been privately operated in Brazil since new. The Citation XLS+ variant was added to Upstar Aviation's RBAC 135 operations specifications on July 14.

It joins a Learjet 40, a Learjet 75, a Phenom 100, a Phenom 100EV, a G150, a G450, and two King Air B300 Beech (twin turboprop)s in Upstar Aviation's fleet, all available for air taxi operations.

Beyond executive charter services, the company also provides aircraft management as well as acquisitions and sales.

Upstar Aviation is the second Brazilian operator currently offering the Citation XLS+ for charter, alongside Interavia Taxi Aereo, which also flies one unit. Amaro Aviation, Mill Taxi Aéreo, Rico Taxi Aéreo, and VOAR Aviation each operate a Citation XLS for air taxi services.
