BOC Aviation will purchase three aircraft, comprising two A321neo and one A320neo, and has committed them on long-term leases to JetSMART (JA, Santiago de Chile) with deliveries poised to take place in 2027. Estuardo Ortiz, chief executive of the Chilean carrier, said the new agreement “is aligned with our long-term regional growth strategy, which envisions a fleet of 120 aircraft by 2031.” The company currently has a fleet of 48 aircraft distributed among four subsidiaries (JetSMART, JetSMART Argentina, JetSMART Colombia, and JetSMART Perú), including twelve A320-200Ns leased from BOC Aviation.
