Inter Îles Air (Anjouan) will be replaced by a yet unnamed government owned new national carrier that will initially serve domestic routes between the Comoros Islands. Inter Îles' only aircraft, an E120 D6-HUA (c/n 120149), had crashed on into the sea after take off on a domestic flight back on November 27. The Comorian government has now decided to purchase a Let 410 to launch its own services from Moroni International to Anjouan and Moheli. No details are known yet about the new carrier's name or proposed launch date.
