Silver Air (United States of America) (SIS, Santa Barbara, CA) has added a first Citation X+ for charter. The aircraft joined three Citation X jets already on the company's Part 135 certificate.
The 10.9-year-old aircraft, N777KT (msn 750-0514), is configured for up to eight passengers and is based at Scottsdale. It was first active under Silver Air's 'SIS' code on September 9, flying between Driggs and Aspen. The jet was formerly operated privately in the United States as N442WE out of Sioux City.
Until June, Silver Air operated a Citation X with the same registration, which has since been exported to Mexico. As of July, the company’s Part 135 Cessna Aircraft Company fleet also included two Citation Jet 3s, a Citation Ultra, a Citation Excel, and a Citation Latitude inducted in late 2024.
Additionally, Silver Air's charter certificate comprises two Challenger 350s, a Challenger 850 added in late 2024, two Global Express jets, two Global 5000s, two GIV-SPs, a GV, three G550s, a Hawker 900XP inducted earlier this year, and a PC-12. Over the past 12 months, the company retired several types, namely the Citation Mustang, Citation Jet 2, Phenom 300, G200, Hawker 400XP, and Hawker 800XPi.
