3 Horizons has obtained an air operator's certificate (AOC) from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), authorising it to conduct passenger and cargo charter services. The aircraft used for certification has not been disclosed.
Founded on September 1, 2014, and based in Kaduna, the company is chaired by Nigerian national Suleiman Sani Bello, who also serves as chairman of DANA - Dornier Aviation Nigeria (DAV, Kaduna Old), according to the latter's website.
DANA holds a Nigerian AOC and operates charter services for the oil and gas sector and the United Nations World Food Programme with an all-turboprop fleet, comprising a Do228-100, three Do328-100s, a DHC-8-Q400, and a Beech 1900D. The company also provides aircraft maintenance.
It is unclear whether 3 Horizons certified with any of DANA's aircraft. ch-aviation reached out to 3 Horizons, DANA, and the NCAA, but received no response.
