Japan Biz Aviation (Tokyo Haneda) is preparing to launch Embraer Executive Jets operations with a Praetor 600 scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2026. The company told ch-aviation that the aircraft is a factory-new unit and that it is considering acquiring additional aircraft.

“With the introduction of the Praetor 600, Japan Biz Aviation will be able to establish an operational network that connects all areas of Japan with direct flights,” the company said in a press release. It added that the aircraft will also enable expansion to major Asian hubs and Hawaii.

The Praetor 600, to be registered as JA600A, will be based at Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita and configured for up to 10 passengers. In addition to charter services, expected to begin in late 2026, it will be available through Japan Biz Aviation's fractional ownership programme.

Once inducted, it will be both the company's first mid-size business jet and the first Embraer executive jet to operate in Japan. It will join four Honda Aircraft in Japan Biz Aviation's fleet, namely three HondaJet Elites and a HondaJet Elite S, alongside two Bell 429 helicopters. All are offered under the company's fractional ownership and available for charter. The carrier also privately manages additional HondaJets and Global 7500s, the latter operated by Phenix Jet Cayman.

Looking ahead, Japan Biz Aviation is considering further fleet growth. "We are evaluating the acquisition of additional aircraft, including more Praetor 600s as well as other Embraer models," a spokesperson said, adding that all options remain under active review.

Known as Sequence Aviation until late 2020, Japan Biz Aviation initially operated exclusively Robinson helicopters. In 2022, it secured approval for the HondaJet, launching charter services with the type in July 2023 and adding Bell helicopters later that year.
