Exjet Aviation has completed proving runs ahead of securing United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval for Part 135 operations with over 10 passengers, President Jaime Torres announced on LinkedIn. The company will launch operations with a GIV.

“After nearly two years of dedicated preparation, training, and teamwork, Exjet Aviation is proud to announce the successful completion of our proving runs this Saturday, marking the final step toward obtaining our Part 135 certification for 10 or more passenger operations. I'm proud to announce that Exjet Aviation is open for business,” Torres wrote on November 10.

Torres shared a picture of 33.6-year-old GIV, N69FP (msn 1180), which has been flying primarily out of Fort Lauderdale Executive, Miami Opa-Locka, and Orlando Executive. The aircraft had been privately operated in the United States until now. Additionally, Exjet Aviation's website lists the Challenger 350 and Hawker 4000 types as part of the fleet.

The Florida-based company will offer a range of aviation services, including private jet charter, offering different jet card memberships, aircraft management, and sales.

Exjet Aviation operates under the Part 135 certificate #9CSA421M, issued to Aviation Partners of Boynton Beach, LLC, formerly trading as Sky Atlantic. This certificate, issue on February 22, 2010, included three BE 99 Beech (twin turboprop)s between late 2018 and mid-2023, with no aircraft listed afterward.

ch-aviation contacted Torres and Exjet Aviation regarding the carrier's launch date and future plans but had not received a response by the time of publication.
