Korean Air (KE, Seoul Incheon) is building a new maintenance hangar at its Seoul Incheon base, in partnership with Incheon International Airport Corporation. The airline will invest KRW176 billion won (USD119.8 million) in the 6.9-hectare site, designed for heavy maintenance and modification work of up to two narrowbody and one widebody aircraft at the same time. The construction of the MRO facility will begin in 2027, with operations expected to commence in the latter part of 2029.
