Sun Country Airlines (SY, Minneapolis St. Paul International) will open a new base at Cincinnati International, a major Amazon.com logistics hub, on January 31, 2026. The base will initially support Sun Country's cargo operations, which comprise twenty B737-800(BCF)s flying on behalf of Amazon. "Growing our footprint beyond Minneapolis St. Paul International has long been a goal for Sun Country, and we are excited to mark this major milestone," said Jude Bricker, president and chief executive. The new base will also allow it to grow its scheduled passenger network in the future. Minneapolis St. Paul International is currently the carrier's only base and accounts for 96.5% of its total scheduled capacity.
