The two state-owned airlines serving French Polynesia, local operator Air Tahiti and long-haul specialist Air Tahiti Nui, have signed a limited code-share partnership which will enter into force on June 2, 2026. The agreement will initially cover just two routes: a domestic service to Bora Bora and an international service to Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, both out of Papeete. While the two airlines have been cooperating increasingly close in recent years, they have thus far not had a formal code-share connectivity.
