GMF AeroAsia, the maintenance subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia Group, and airport operator PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, trading as InJourney Airports, finalised a land capital injection deed on December 29, 2025. The transaction officially transfers 972,123 square metres of land at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta, valued at IDR5.66 trillion rupiah (USD332.4 million), to the MRO company.

The transaction follows shareholder approval for a rights issue in October 2025 and confirms the airport operator's status as a shareholder of the MRO firm. GMF said the asset transfer will restore its positive equity and eliminate future rent payments previously due to InJourney Airports.
