Zimbabwean state-owned charter carrier Falcon Air (Zimbabwe) (Harare Charles Prince) has launched weekly scheduled services between Harare Charles Prince and Beitbridge on the border with South Africa, cutting travel times to about 90 minutes from more than seven hours by road. It is the first scheduled route for both airports, as well as for the airline, and it is expected to support cross-border trade and regional connectivity. The flights are operated using a 12-seater Reims-Cessna (twin turboprop) F406 Caravan II, Z-DDG (msn unknown), one of four of the type in the operator's fleet. Falcon Air is owned by the country's Rural Infrastructure Development Agency.
