The Taipei branch of Taiwan's Administrative Enforcement Agency has sold an MD-83 formerly operated by Far Eastern Air Transport to an undisclosed buyer. B-28007 (msn 49807) fetched TWD3.2 million New Taiwan dollars (USD101,000) during a third auction on January 6, 2026. The 34.8-year-old airframe, seized to help settle unpaid fees left by the defunct carrier, was sold after two earlier auctions, with higher starting prices, yielded no bids. It has been stored at Taipei Songshan since the airline suspended operations in December 2019.
