Jin Air (LJ, Jeju) and Air Busan (BX, Busan) have launched domestic codeshare on three routes in South Korea. The arrangement began on January 6, 2026, covering Seoul Gimpo-Busan, Jeju-Busan, and Jeju-Ulsan sectors. Under the agreement, Air Busan is the operating carrier but tickets are also sold via Jin Air channels under its 'LJ' flight code. The move precedes the planned consolidatoion of low-cost carriers Jin Air, Air Busan, and Air Seoul, scheduled for early 2027 as part of the Korean Air-Asiana Airlines merger.
