Regent Craft (North Kingstown) has announced that XXV, a private members club based in Southern Connecticut, has ordered 30 all-electric Viceroy Seagliders, with deliveries starting in 2027. XXV, which offers experiences at premier coastal destinations, will appoint "a high-profile" United States-based operator for the vessels. The 12-passengers Seagliders will initially be deployed on East Coast routes, including New York to the Hamptons, Boston to Nantucket, Palm Beach to Miami, and Miami to the Bahamas. Regent Craft plans to certify its Seagliders with the US Coast Guard, with technical support of the Federal Aviation Administration, which it hopes will accelerate the path to entry into service.
