Gama Aviation (GMA, Farnborough) has inaugurated a new fixed-base operation (FBO) at Sharjah. The 80,000-square-metre facility represents an investment of more than USD60 million and comprises a 12,000-square-metre, twin 25-metre-high hangar, a 36,000-square-metre dedicated ramp, and a terminal facility. The company will provide line and base maintenance for Boeing, Bombardier Aerospace, Embraer Executive Jets, and Hawker Beechcraft aircraft under European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) approvals.

The Sharjah FBO complements Gama Aviation's existing facilities at Glasgow International and Jersey.
