Schubach Aviation (San Diego McClellan Palomar) has inducted a G650ER and two Citation Sovereigns, while retiring a G450.
The newly inducted 2018-built ultra-long-range G650ER, N344AP (msn 6295), is configured for up to 13 passengers and is based at Naples Municipal. The jet was previously operated privately out of Allentown International.
“The addition of the G650ER enables us to fly passengers to virtually anywhere in the world, oftentimes non-stop,” said chief executive and co-owner Kimberly Herrell.
Schubach Aviation further added two Citation Sovereigns, namely N595AB (msn 680-0090), manufactured in 2006 and configured for up to nine passengers, and N369FG (msn 680-0255), built in 2009 and seating up to eight passengers.
Herrell said both jets expand the carrier's super-midsize presence in Southern California. While N595AB is stationed at Santa Ana, CA, N369FG is based at Van Nuys.
Both aircraft were previously operated under the Part 135 certificate of Alerion Aviation (Long Beach). The carrier's website currently lists another Citation jet available for charter - a Citation X - alongside a Legacy 600, an Astra Galaxy, two G200s, a G280, a GIV-SP, and a King Air B350 Beech (twin turboprop).
As of July, Alerion Aviation's Part 135-certified fleet additionally comprised a Challenger 300, a Global 5000, two GVs, and a Learjet 60. One of the GVs has been operated by Presidential Aviation (PRD, Fort Lauderdale Executive) since August. It is unclear whether the remaining aircraft are still under Alerion Aviation's Part 135 certificate.
Meanwhile, Schubach Aviation has retired a 2010-built G450, N48PL (msn 4181). Configured for up to 14 passengers, the jet was inducted by the carrier in late 2021.
This aircraft has since been added to the Part 135-certified fleet of Latitude 33 Aviation (San Diego McClellan Palomar), marking the introduction of Gulfstream Aerospace operations at the company. Charter director Jesse Cunningham told Business Air News the aircraft is available for charter out of San Diego McClellan Palomar and other southern California airports.
“With the addition of the G450, we are elevating what we can offer to our clients in Southern California and around the world,” Cunningham told the publication, highlighting the jet's capability, extended range, and cabin as key selling points.
Alongside the G450, Latitude 33 Aviation's website lists a Challenger 300 added in 2026, three Challenger 350s, a Challenger 605, a Citation Jet 2, a Citation Jet 2+, six Citation Jet 3s, a Citation XLS+, a Citation Sovereign+, three Phenom 300s, and a PC-12 for charter.
Beyond the newly added G650ER and Citation Sovereigns, Schubach Aviation's website lists a Challenger 350, a Challenger 605, a Citation Jet 3, a Citation XLS Gen2, a G200, a Beechjet 400A, and a Hawker 850XP for charter. A Citation M2 that was part of the carrier's Part 135-certified fleet in July is not currently listed.
Schubach Aviation privately manages at least two Citation Jet 3s, a Legacy 500, three G200s, two G280s, and a G550.
