Pegasus Airlines (PC, Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen) has inaugurated a new full-service maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) centre at Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen, in line with plans outlined by chairman Mehmet Nane in late 2025. The facility comprises 18,000 square metres of enclosed space and a 25,000-square-metre apron, with two hangars configured to support line and base maintenance on up to five narrowbody aircraft simultaneously. The centre is approved for A320ceo/neo and B737NG-family aircraft.
A second phase, scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026, will add another hangar, providing base maintenance capacity for five additional narrowbody aircraft. A third phase, planned to begin within four to five years, will expand that hangar to accommodate up to 10 narrowbody aircraft.
