Alliance Aviation Services, the holding company of Alliance Airlines (QQ, Brisbane International), will recognise a non-cash impairment charge of AUD130 million Australian dollars (USD92 million) against its F70 and F100 fleet and another AUD30 million (USD21.2 million) for related inventory. The carrier stated the move comes as the Fokker Aircraft types approach the end of their useful economic lives and will be "progressively retired". ch-aviation data shows the carrier has twelve F70s and twenty-four F100s in service.
