Eurowings (EW, Düsseldorf) will take over the Düsseldorf-Milan Linate route currently operated by ITA Airways (AZ, Rome Fiumicino) starting in the summer 2026 season. The German LCC will continue operating it 2x weekly using its A320-200s. Eurowings already serves Linate from Stuttgart. The move is a part of a network coordination between ITA Airways and its strategic, though thus far still minority shareholder, Lufthansa Group.
