Avelo Airlines (XP, Burbank) has delayed the delivery of its first E195-E2 from mid-2027 to 2028, the company confirmed, saying that the schedule for the arrival of its up to 50 regional jets of the type is still in the works.
The US carrier reached a deal with Embraer in September 2025 for up to fifty E195-E2s. On arrival of the first unit, it will become the first US carrier to operate the E2 family. The company’s chief executive Andrew Levy expects the aircraft to have a configuration of 140 seats in a single class cabin configuration.
ch-aviation fleets data shows Avelo’s current fleet comprises three B737-700s and fourteen B737-800s.
