Air Tahiti Nui (TN, Papeete) will resume direct passenger operations between Papeete and Sydney Kingsford Smith on December 14, 2026. The airline said that the new service will operate 2x weekly on a B787-9. Air Tahiti Nui, which has an existing codeshare agreement with Qantas, last operated flights to Australia until 2009.
