Edinburgh Sheriff Court ordered the liquidation of Ecojet Airlines in February 2026. Sheriff Roderick Flinn confirmed in a ruling that the start-up's paid up capital did not exceed GBP120,000 pounds (USD161,000) and that it was unable to paid its debts. Opus Restructuring was appointed as interim liquidator. The company filed for liquidation after its investor, green energy tycoon Dale Vince, decided to pause his involvement.
