A former deputy party secretary and director at Sichuan Airlines, Li Hang, is under investigation for alleged disciplinary and legal violations, adding to governance pressures at the Chengdu Shuangliu-based carrier. The executive remained in his leadership role until February 2026, after holding senior posts in human resources, discipline inspection, and party administration.

The probe follows investigations into two former chairmen. Former Sichuan Airlines Group chief Shi Zuyi was placed under investigation in January 2026, and former chairman Wang Fengchao in November 2025.
