Solinair (ZS, Ljubljana) has opened a new maintenance facility at Klagenfurt in Austria. The MRO base will initially focus only on the CRJ900 type. Solinair expects to service up to eight regional jets at the same time once the facility ramps up to full capacity. The initial customer is Lufthansa CityLine, which has ferried two CRJ900s to Klagenfurt. Solinair's in-house maintenance unit focuses on regional aircraft, including both jets and ATR - Avions de Transport Régional turboprops. The company has base maintenance facilities at Ljubljana, as well as line maintenance at Billund, Leipzig/Halle, Pristina, and Istanbul Atatürk.
