Wyoming-based aircraft trust Valiair has acquired Part 135-certified operator Superior Air Charter, Corporate Jet Investor reported.

“This acquisition is an important step for Valiair's charter division's growth in the very light jet segment,” said Valiair chief executive Marco Reininger, adding that Superior Air Charter's base at Dallas Love Field will allow the company to serve the Texas market.

The transaction closed in February and includes three four-seat Phenom 100s, namely N574JS (msn 50000046), N581JS (msn 50000110), and N583JS (msn 50000131), manufactured between 2009 and 2010.

In addition to the three very light jets, Superior Air Charter's operational management team and seven crew members will transfer to a Valiair subsidiary.

Specialising in aviation trust funds, import and export, and aircraft transactions, Valiair already offered charter services through the Part 135 certificate of nextair (Albuquerque International), which comprises two five-seat Phenom 100s built in 2010 and 2012.

nextair's marketing agent, Onward Jets, will also act as charter broker for Superior Air Charter.
