National Airlines (N8, Orlando Sanford) has taken delivery of its first B777-200F, it announced on social media. The aircraft was delivered at Boeing’s headquarters at Everett.

N791CA (msn 70547) is the first of four freighters of the type expected for the US cargo specialist, and is expected to start operations shortly. The second, N792CA, has been spotted in full livery with engines installed, and is set to undergo flight testing soon.

The order for four freighters was placed during the Farnborough International Airshow in 2024. National Airlines said the type “complements the existing fleet with a range of 4,970 nautical miles (9,200 kilometres) and can carry a maximum payload of 102 tonnes (224,900 pounds).”

According to ch-aviation fleets data, National Airlines operates 15 aircraft: two A330-200s, one A330-300, six B747-400(BCF)s, one B747-400ERF, two B747-400FSCDs, one B757-200, one Falcon 7X, and now one B777-200F.
