Kuwait has become the last country to reopen its airspace to commercial traffic after a nearly two-month closure caused by the US-Israeli attack on Iran. As of April 23, the airspace is open only to traffic arriving and departing from Kuwait, with overflights still not permitted. All flights must obtain a new approval, and permits issued before February 28 have been invalidated. Kuwait Airways (KU, Kuwait) and Jazeera Airways (J9, Kuwait) restarted operations from their base airport on April 26.
