Wizz Air (W6, Budapest) CEO József Váradi said at a conference that now-defunct subsidiary Wizz Air Abu Dhabi was a mistake. The decision looked good at the time it was made, he added. However, Váradi stressed that Wizz Air will not hold back from entering new markets in the future. The chief executive also said that the LCC is seeing significantly stronger bookings this summer compared to 2025.
