Norse Atlantic Airways (N0, Oslo Gardermoen) has accelerated its Project Falcon restructuring programme, aiming to generate up to USD50 million in cost savings compared to the 2025 baseline. The airline will relocate its head office from Arendal to Oslo, lay off around 75 administrative workers (a third of its administrative staff), and implement furloughs, temporary pay cuts for non-flying personnel, and a more flexible base structure. "Geopolitical tension has affected jet fuel prices and traffic flows, requiring Norse Atlantic to accelerate Project Falcon to strengthen our financial resilience and pave the way towards profitability," CEO Eivind Roald said.
