British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) has asked Heathrow Airport Holdings, the operator of London Heathrow, for GBP10 million pounds (USD13.4 million) redress for repeated issues with the airport's baggage handling system. BA CEO Sean Doyle said this was causing "significant and unacceptable" problems to the airline due to the high number of bags mishandled at the airport. This comes after an issue with the system caused some 20,000 bags to be delayed in mid-May 2026.
