Iberia (IB, Madrid Barajas) has taken delivery of its first of eight A330-300s EC-LUB (c/n 1377) on February 8. The aircraft has now been flown to Madrid Barajas on February 15 following painting at Amsterdam Schiphol. Iberia initially plans to use its new widebody aircraft on flights to London Heathrow, Rome Fiumicino and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion before deploying them on long-haul services. In summer, it is expecting to operate A330-300s to Boston, Chicago O'Hare, Luanda 4 De Fevereiro, Miami International and New York JFK.
