Air Rarotonga (GZ, Rarotonga) has purchased a Saab 340B, N703RS (msn 340B-252), from US-based C&L Aerospace, increasing its Saab (Sweden) fleet to three aircraft. The 35-year-old turboprop is undergoing a major overhaul and modification at Bangor International. Delivery and entry into service is scheduled to occur in October 2026, with a planned deployment to Manihiki Island in 2027 following a runway upgrade.
