American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) has added four new gates at its busiest hub, Dallas/Fort Worth, following the opening of a new pier at its Terminal C. A further five gates were rebuilt, bringing the total number of new electronic boarding gates to nine. The investment, which took two years, marks the first part of a planned multi-year reconstruction of the entire terminal. American Airlines operates almost 6,400 weekly departures at Dallas/Fort Worth, and has an 84.8% market share at the airport by scheduled capacity.
