Arkia Israeli Airlines (IZ, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion) will launch 2x weekly flights between Tel Aviv Ben Gurion and Tokyo Narita from October 25, 2026, operated by an A330-200 wet leased from Hi Fly Malta (3L, Malta International). Announcing the route on June 2, Arkia said Tokyo forms part of its long-haul expansion strategy in East Asia. It will become the second airline operating non-stop flights between Israel and Japan after El Al Israel Airlines.
